Note: Do not use for overhead lifting. This load binder is designed to work as part of a complete tie-down system. The overall capacity depends on the safe working load limit (WLL) of the chain(s) that you choose, as well as the capacity of the load binder itself. The item being tied down must not exceed the combined WLL of the lowest-rated components in the system.

Speaker 1: Today we're going to take a look at the Titan Chain Ratcheting Load Binder for 3/8" to 1/2" thick chain. This has a max capacity of 9,200 pounds. Now, this is going to be a really great, easy, and quick solution to tighten down your chains to secure heavy loads, especially for agricultural or industrial applications. So you'll have your two chains attached to either end with those heavy hooks, and then you can ratchet those down using the handle in the middle, and that will pull both of the hooks on the end towards the center. These have threaded bolts in the center there, and so that's just going to twist and bring them in or out depending on how you have it turned. To reverse that handle, there's just the little lever in the center that you'll flip, and now you can ratchet it in the other direction to either loosen or tighten as you need.Now this is made of a forged steel construction, so it's going to be really strong and durable.
It has this nice powder coat finish in sort of a cherry, fire engine red, so it's going to help it to resist any corrosion or rust. This equipment does meet the Department of Transportation regulations, and again, this can work with 3/8" to 1/2" thick chain links. The safe working load limit, again, is 9,200 pounds or 9,200 pounds. The handle length is going to be 9", and that's going from where it sort of flares out here to the very tip of the handle. The minimum reach on this is going to be 22", or it's whenever it's the most sensation cinched in, it's going to be at least 22" and it goes out from there.Now, you don't want to use this for overhead lifting.
This is only intended to work as part of a complete tie-down system. Stoutly constructed and operate smoothly when binding both 5/16 and 3/8 chains. Great paint coating looks good and protects the steel.

Purchased these as a part of my package to secure my tractor to the trailer. These are very nicely made and work great. They are exactly as appear and they arrived with not a scratch in the bright red paint. I prefer these to the other kind of load binder as these seem easier to tighten.
